SilvesterAs the nights get longer and darker, the need for bright colours becomes greater.
The Silvester is a lacy rectangular scarf/stole.
The scarf starts with a point at one corner, and increases until it reaches the width of the scarf.  It then increases on one side and decreases on the other to shift diagonally for the length of the wrap, and then decreased on each end until the other corner is created.  The pattern is charted, and there is no lace patterning on the wrong side rows.

Finished measurements: 45 cm wide.  The length is adjustable in the pattern

Yarn: 600 yds/100g of heavy laceweight, e.g. Sanguine Gryphon Sappho, Wollmeise Lace-Garn or similar yarn
Needles: 4.5 mm needles
