Announcing the Mystic Star Shawl knitalong!
Mystic Star is a circular shawl which draws its inspiration from the starry night sky.
There will also be a semicircular version of the shawl available.
The finished diameter is approximately 130 cm (51”)
My shawl is knit on 3.25 mm needles, using 10/2 Tencel (laceweight) yarn from Yarntopia Treasures (1,050 yds per 4 oz skein) in the Seaweed colourway. The circular shawl uses 1 skein (approx 1,050 yds), and the semicircular shawl uses approx. 1/2 skein (550 yds). The 10/2 Tencel is available on Etsy and on eBay.
As always, yarn substitutions are encouraged.

The pattern will be made available for a knitalong, starting January 26.
It will be distributed to the members in four consecutive pieces, once a week on Mondays.
The last part of the pattern will be released on February 16.

The South for the Winter lace scarf reminds us of the warmer weather even during the long, cold winter months.
The scarf is knit in Bamboo Cotton blend (in the Olive colourway) from Yarntopia Treasures – 420 yds/4 oz skein. The length is of course adjustable, but with one skein you get a scarf which is approx. 26 cm x 190 cm (10″ x 76″).
